Variable size wing? So it's offset? Wasn't that part of what made the Arobie Epic different?

I may have to try this one out, if only for the novelty.

Doomsdays stuff is actually pretty good.

I got the original bunkerbusters before it was PDGA approved. They are super class and so much fun to throw. Just casual 300 foot flights.

Pic from Doomsday's website.

Interesting, but not offset quite the same way as Aerobie's Epic. Another thing about the Epic was it's "tunability." Aerobie touted the fact that players could bend the wing to change it's flight.

If it's good. The big tomahawk throwers with the epics will like this.

The problem with the epic is that they beat up to easily, and these guys that do these 450 foot overhand epic throws. They.. have a hard time getting them for starters, and they just dont last.
And if you find a used one beat to hell, they still selling for like 50 dollars.

So if this is done right, those guys are going to have an in production option that will really help them out. if it functions similar.

Never threw an Epic, but fondled a few.

Always figured the relatively soft plastic that made it "tunable" necessarily came with a shorter life expectancy.

Softer blends a are fine for putters, where you're not typically throwing them fast, and usually tossing them at a basket from out in the open (at least most of the time.. hopefully).

Softer blends just don't holds up well in drivers that get thrown at high speeds and whack trees more often.

😐

In all honesty, I don't think it was ever truly designed for disc golf, but more for fun.

Then when you got guys throwing 300 foot high thumbers and crashing them down onto the ground, the disc isn't going to last.

It's funny to see discs like this and the Trashpanda ET ones getting back into the game.

The ET2 wouldn't do the cool things that an Epic could, I do think since the plastic was better and you couldn't bend it to a C shape to make it flip early that made it more traditional.

Basically flew like an Eagle for me. Will hopefully try one of these as well to compare.

I've never seen those from Trash Panda before. Similar idea to this Abomination and the Epic.

It's always cool to see brands try stuff outside the norm!
