It sounds like you're talking about the Quest/AT Turbo Putt. I think that disc was briefly approved by pdga, but it was later rescinded. That was more than 10 years ago though.Has to be PDGA approved, that is all. There was a new Turbo putter at the Northeast expo with finger grooves on the sides. I don't know if it is PDGA approved. Six sided discs had one in his latest YouTube video.

I grip one of those last year, an odd disc that put.a smile on my face. An owner of a local PIAS has hundreds of collectable disc, I make a monthly visit.
