MVP Open 2024

Just some thoughts on the few MH changes (MPO side):

Hole 1: Not usually a fan of the forced mandos, but I was okay with this one, especially since they brought the basket closer on the par 4 position. I loved the par 3 layout for Thursday/Friday, hope that sticks around. It's not the distance so much as it is how much you want to risk trying to get into C1.

Hole 9: I love the concept of a par 5, but I'd like to see if you're going to have a singular par 5, reward two good shots with an eagle chance, maybe even C2. That's extremely unlikely from that gold pad. I don't think anybody even dared try it day 2 (day 1 given the weather, forget about it)

Wow - from Another Round DG

Right before James Proctor's massive putt for the win at MVP Open, he seemingly stopped his routine to look down at his wrist. We asked him why and this is what he sent us.

Whoever he is, I hope he conquers his demons soon. His FH is the real deal. His intense look is great on camera. He should try staring the basket down, no way it would dare spit his putt out.
His putting is seriously holding him back. 76% C1x (94th on tour) and 19% from C2 (91st). Really shows just HOW good he is throwing the disc outside of those last 60 ft. He's second in C2 in reg behind Buhr, but Buhr is 1st in C2 makes so he's scoring from those positions 35% of the time as opposed to 19%.
Shoot he's 5th in C1 in reg, behind Buhr, Wysocki, Heimburg and Klein (who has his own putting woes).
