Actually, I threw it this weekend. I can switch back and forth between the Scale and Rhyno without really missing a beat. And I do like the Scale for running at scary putts, especially long jumpers that hyzer out. But I sortof prefer the Rhyno off the tee.

I hear you on the Rhyno. I used to throw Rhynos a bit and they are great. The Fossil plastic is what sold me on the Scale for that slot. I am a sucker for nice baseline stuff, though.

Love the Fossil plastic and the similarity to my putting and throwing Wizards, but the Scale is slower and beefier - i.e. shorter.

I really lean on my control drivers, and the *DSs really only come out when distance is more important than good control -- basically, in the rare instance where those 25 feet are going to give me a different look or a makeable birdie try. If I'm just going to be throwing a slightly longer upshot either way, I stick with a control driver. Fairways for standstills or shorter technical drives.
And I am perfectly happy with my mids and putters.

So what would you drop?
I'd like to carry fewer this spring with more room for icy beverages. I often think I could drop the OLS and Teebird, but then I go out and use each one virtually every round. I know 19 ain't crazy, but still...

Could you go from Destroyer to Firebird-Eagle-teebird? Or maybe better yet for flexing wooded lines, firebird-eagle-leopard (or fd).

I'd assume you've tried this (and maybe that's what the ojlsqlf 1.1.2 Jazz is all about, I don't know)

I've also found that from playing Trojan, McCormick, Hornings and Buxton, and pier, Milo and Blue Lake is that the bag can definitely vary from course to course.

It's the archer AND the arrow from my experience here.

No doubt. More often than anything else, I'll just leave my Destroyers in the car at many courses, and stick a Zone in for tricky woodsy flex shots. I can think of maybe two tees on all 54 holes at Hornings where I'd throw a Destroyer. 2, maybe 3 at Pier. None at McCormick. Maybe one at Buxton. But TONS of Destroyers at Milo and Blue Lake....

Anyway, not dropping speed 9/10 control drivers as a class. They do more work than anything except my putters.

Our park course is supposed to change back to the Summer layout any day now. As soon as my ankle feels solid, I'll be out testing those Comets. Even after just a few field throws with the White ESP, I'm looking forward to tossin' them around.
