PDGA ratings are up. How'd you do?

More locally I went up 4 to get back to 930- SD must have changed enough to drop a really crappy round that had been counting previously. Can't say I like the idea that these rounds from months and months ago either count or don't based on recent play. IMO if they count when you shoot them they should stay in and if they don't count when you shoot them they should continue to not count.
I would rather see all rounds counted (no drops) and weighting as a time decay function instead of the current 1 year cutoff and most recent 25% weighted double. Just seems off to have some wrap around doubled weighted rounds when there are months between them. Nip any 'sandbagging' due to ratings lag quickly for people improving over the winter when few events are held in most areas and reduce the influence of old rounds more drastically for players that don't play as often.

Set a goal of 900 back in 2017, got stuck in the 890s then ended up taking a few years off, finally cracked 900!

In the 10 years or so I've been playing disc golf, I never once practiced putting. Within a few weeks of doing 50-100 putts a day, I started scoring low 900s rather high 800s and finally crossed the 900 rating threshold. Have a goal of getting to 950 over the next 5 years, but I'm 40+ with kids, so a bit ambitious perhaps.

Still haven't finished a 1000 rated round this year after doing it a each of the past 3 years (couple 990+ in 2024 though). Definitely a raise the floor kind of year so far with my lowest rated round in the 920s which counts as improvement over my 900s and 890s low rounds the past couple years.

Never had a 1000 + rated round, but I did have a 998 earlier this year, ugh! Sooooo freaking close.

Up 2 to 927 for me this update

I managed it in the one tournament added in this update! 🥳 1030+ to establish a new single round high besting my prior 1010s.

Those 990-999 this year prior to that came within a stroke so I knew how close I was and could just play more conservative on a few tricky holes. Nice to put it mostly together for a full round but it could have been a couple strokes better even.
