It's about that time again. Let's hear what your plans are for next year. All trips, any trips, day trips, acid trips, well not acid trips I guess. Disc golf trips only but PM me about your acid trips if you want. Us northern folks are running out of good weather and since I start these things that's what I'm basing it on :p

I'm curious what @elmexdela has lined up since he teased up a couple weeks ago too. He really half assed it this year. I doubt that'll happen again.

I'm Thinking GA and AL next year in April to kick things off. Lots of good looking stuff and it'll get me out of the god awful weather we'll have up here by then. Lula, Hobbs (I know, I know), Little Mulberry, Inverness, Etowah, etc. Lots of stuff that's right up my alley. Some sneaky good looking ones like Kudzu Cove, Parker's Pasture, Heritage Farms, The Mutt, etc.

Thinking about Marquette MI and things as well in the summer. Probably clean some things out of SE WI too. It's been awhile since I've been "home" anyway.

Let me hear it.

The only trip planned so far is a late winter road trip to Dauphin Island, off the Alabama coast. The Admiral, Stoney Hill, and Langley Pond are on the itinerary, but the rest of the trip is up in the air.

But I'm still hoping for a few more 2024 trips . . . 😁

Your list includes some really fun ATL area courses.

In Marquette, Powder Mill was pretty good, but I really enjoyed Buck Buchanan. Pretty confident you'll like it more than Powder Mill, too.

If you play any courses in Cinci, let me know you crazy rascal. I am overdue for Mt Airy and others.

Worked a summer at Glacier, Lake McDonald area. Absolutely beautiful out there.

ive played some of cinci but still need to hit priority of echo and caesars

got a (family) trip planned to georgia in march; staying in powder springs. should be able to plan for a half day to get over to hobs or boundry waters. maybe slip away for a quick round at the close ones while i'm there too (frog rock, hopkins, white oak, oregon park, deer lick)

Idaho and Montana. Looking to add these 2 to my list of states played in 2025!

Caliber in Idaho and Kooky Noosa in Montana look like a good pair close to the border. Hopefully will add a few more to the list while out there in the summer!

This is also my plan for next fall. Looks amazing over there.

^Very early in the planning stage, but Montana may be in the cards for me as well. Wife was looking for somewhere to meet up with some old friends who live in Cali for a joint vaca. Of course I told her that if we're in Montana, we're jumping over the border to play Caliber in Idaho. Not even going to think about how big Montana is and how ridiculous that idea is until it's too late. We're looking at June.

i know you want to check off another state, but the farragut complex is close to caliber & just as good as kooky noosa (maybe better w/5 courses there)

Farragut is high on my wish list for sure but gotta get at least 1 Montana course on this trip to finish the lower 48.

100% open to all suggestions if there is something better than Kooky Noosa in Montana! I am planning to squeeze in as many courses as possible as usual. :)

Will you be driving or flying? If you fly into Spokane, check out Four Mound, Rocky Ridge, Camp Sekani Jamboree, etc. Also, Corbin Park is short and fun.

If you just want a quick Montana pelt, Timber Beast looks decent and is just over the border.

lots of quality golf in that area. timber beast is good, but doesn't have the views, elevation, & isolation of kooky noosa. can't go wrong with any of the courses up there, so try to hit as many as you can & you won't be disappointed (well, unless you play the sub18 holers, or have caliber expectations)

I'm thinking of doing a Milwaukee area/northern CHI burbs trip. Probably in mid to late May to avoid scalding hot temps. There's lots of newer courses that have popped up since I've been back home (Milwaukee) and a few I just haven't made it too yet.

It's going to some combination of good, meh and wtf is wrong with you courses played it's looking like.

The fun thing is I'm planning the first few days where I can leave all of our stuff back at the hotel besides the discs so there's less of a chance of our car getting broken into. All to play the new(ish) version of Dineen Park in Milwaukee. That was the most ghetto area I'd ever, and probably still have, played to date. Yay.

I'll also be bagging this gem of a course.

To put it in perspective. Even Udisc has this rated at 0.7

parking at dineen for an hour with out of state license plates did not inspire confidence (actually im pretty sure i cut my round short due to fear of my car gettin broken into and the course generally isnt great/worth the risk)
