Pros:
- Nice circular trail through the woods.
- Baskets are interesting though difficult to hole out compared to standard baskets.
Cons:
- No signage.
- No tee boxes.
- Incredibly narrow fairways, basically a walking trail surrounded by waist/chest high weeds and stinging nettle. You will lose discs on this course without a spotter.
- Very difficult to find the course unless you call the lady who owns it (who is really sweet).
Other Thoughts:
This is the closest course to my home, so I'd love it if this were even moderately playable, but we don't think we'll ever go back.
It's a circular 9 holes where you're basically trying to throw along a walking path through waist/chest high growth. It's a nice walk in the woods, but not worth playing as a disc golf course unless you're doing a bucket list of every course in Alberta or something. If you're coming out this way play Aspen Meadows or relax with an easy round on the Olds course.
The lady who runs the place is really sweet, I hate to write a negative review about the place but at the same time I'd hate to see people waste an afternoon driving out here when they could play Aspen Meadows instead.
