Pros:

The Amrock DGC is located in a pretty little park. It's a 6 hole course that is pretty good for beginners, at least the first 4 holes. The last 2 are a little bit long and challenging for beginners. But it's a pretty solid design regardless.

The Baskets are shiny new Mach V's that are all mounted nice and level and catch great. One basket and pin position per hole.

The tee pads are crushed gravel inside a wood frame. Level and pretty solid actually. About your average length and width, maybe 4'x8'. One tee per hole.

The course hole lengths vary from hole 1 at 155' being the shortest. Hole 6 is a whopping 580', by far the longest. A solid mix of different distances for a six hole course actually. Holes 1 and 2 are par 2's and hole 6 is a par 4. The other's are par 3's.

The tee signs are pretty simple but look very nice. They have the hole #, par and distances listed on them. Nothing amazing but really it's all you need on a course like this. There is also a beautiful course map with all your pars and distances located next to hole 1.

Course is free, probably never busy, at least disc golf wise, and is in a pretty little park. Great design for the little bit of space they had to work with.

Cons:

Hole 6 doesn't end anywhere near the parking lot. You have to walk the trail all the way back after finishing. It's not that long of a walk, but is a little annoying. It's understandable though, with the space alloted.

A few holes play over the walking trails. A little sketchy on hole 6, since the majority of the fairway and part of the walking path are blind from the tee. Hole 5 also plays over the path but it's visable from the tee. Just be cognizant of where you are throwing.

Other Thoughts:

This course was nothing special, but it is a fun little 6 hole. Obviously nothing to go out of your way for, but it's not the worst course I've played. Pretty good place for beginners. They did what they could with the available land. Course baggers dream but that's all if you don't live nearby.
