Pros:
1. New baskets with numbers and descriptive tee signs.
2. Easy to navigate. Tee pads are well marked.
3. Extremely fun hole 2 with a short throw over the deep creek that is short enough for a beginner. There's even room to bail out early to the right.
4. Plenty of trees to make the course interesting. Hole 1 is very open allowing a slight mixture of hole styles.
5. I threw off the tee RHBH, RH forehand, and a tomahawk. This course did not feel repetitive.
Cons:
1. Tee pads are only recycled asphalt or gravel right now.
2. A few of the holes are extremely tight, and underbrush is thick. This is a very green course that needs play.
3. Walking paths come into play on holes 4 though 9. It can be dangerous for walkers as some of these holes are blind throws off the tee.
4. Hole 8's fairway crosses in front of hole 9's teepad. There is an awesome fairway back towards the playground following the power lines if the underbrush was cleaned up that can correct this problem.
5. The memorial sign for Andy Sage is in the direct flight path off of hole 4's tee pad. There's already a chunk missing from the wooden sign.
Other Thoughts:
A good start to a beginner course in an area with great land that desperately needs more courses!
