    I have to get myself to Minneapolis. So many friends here I'd like to play with, would be fun getting in a round together :hfive:

    I have used DGCR to find courses for many, many years, so whenever I am traveling anywhere for anything, I pull up the course map feature and find courses near there. I never really thought about playing in all 50 states until a few years ago a friend of mine (who is also a member on here) pointed out to me that I had played in 35 different states already. Then I started making a point to play in any state I go to where I haven't played already. I wish he would have told me that before the one time we went to Rhode Island, which was 2013. :)
    Idk if I'm a great source of information. I hope that was in some way helpful.

    Hey!
    Both of those trips were family trips, so disc golf was not the main purpose of going there. But my wife is patient with me and understands my desire to play when I can. I like to play the best courses in whatever area I travel to, if I can, but sometimes it is just a matter of what course is close to where we are going.
    Kincaid Park in Anchorage is one of the highest-rated and beautiful courses and also is in a beautiful park that is a great place to visit for reasons other than disc golf. So that was a no-brainer. I also played a course in Skagway that was near where our cruise docked.
    In Hawaii I played at a course right near our hotel in Hilo, so it was chosen for location and not because we went to where the best course in Hawaii was. Then I also played when we were on another island because we had time and my wife didn't mind. :)
