Hole 6 is a classic two-fairway, "hyzer or flick?" hole. I find the hyzer route to be easier for righties.

Hole 5 is straight with trees lining both sides of the fairway and dotting it. Accuracy on a straight tee shot gives you a birdie chance.

Hole 4 is another par 4 with a sharp left dogleg. It's very hard to cut the corner on this hole as the trees are thick, so you really want to make it to the landing zone to give you a straight and short approach shot and an easy birdie.

Tip #4
Tip by:KenanFlagler01 Added on: Hole:#3
Hole 3 is the first par 4 and it's par 4 because thick pine trees line the fairway and dot it too. Play your tee shot straight with hyzer finish for RHBH, then pick your gap on the approach shot based on where you land.

Hole 2 plays downhill to a green area bordered by a small ditch. For RHBH, play a straight shot with a hyzer finish.

From the white tee, hole 1 is a valley shot over a ditch/ravine, then back up the hill to a right-curving fairway. It calls for a flick or an anhyzer for righties.

#13 is a really fun island green hole. How do you play this one? Just go for the basket! I try to play a hyzer (RHBH) that curves in over the creek and onto the green. This approach can get you on the green or you could spike it into the river bank, but it's a fun shot!

There is a creek right in front of the 12th basket. Make your decision on the tee if you're going to lay up or go for it. Indecisiveness will put you right in the water. Even if you avoid the water on your tee shot, be careful on your putt. It's a fast green and a missed putt can roll right into the water. I'm speaking from experience.
