Pros:
+There are baskets.
+Tees are marked
+If you're here, you're probably having a good time drinking on the river.
Cons:
-Unnatural flight paths. Extreme curves cause you to throw dinker shots to corners then throw again.
-Some fairways way too tight for the distance needed on hole. If you can throw straight as an arrow and accurate, you would be fine.
-The rough is rough. Stay out of it as much as possible. Previous reviewer noted barbed wire in the rough.
-Tees are natural
-Baskets are single chain, poor catching beasts.
-Pay to play (don't play here unless you are staying at the campground)
-Some holes have potential to have other campers and/or vehicles in your flight path. Generally, they used the fringes of the property and the woods but some are closer to the action. Be wary.
Other Thoughts:
+The Apple River is a fun place and the land around here is really nice. It could house a good disc golf course. This is not it. This is a low budget way to provide something to do at the campground beyond just eating, drinking, and floating.
+The land used here really is nice and has potential. It just needs some more money, work, and a more knowledgeable designer. If they put some more effort in, they might attract a different clientele than usual. This place isn't too far from the MSP metro area and there's a lot of DGers there.
