Pros:
The 9 DD Patriots here are in good shape and numbered. Can't say they catch all that well but that could be user error on my part.
I did see a couple tee signs. Nothing fancy but they at least gave you the distance.
Not too hard to navigate once you find hole 1. There are some spots marked on the concerete you can tee off from and I found at least one astro-turf pad as well. A few of the holes do have you teeing off from the grass.
The designer did incorporate the occasional tree here and there so it's not simply a hyzer fest. There is also some slight elevation. Nobody would mistake this for Northwoods Black, but it is more than just 9 baskets in the middle of a field.
Cons:
That being said, there's really not much going on here. To be fair it's just 9 baskets laid out on the outskirts of elementary school property so I certainly couldn't have thought up a better layout. Most holes are around 150-180 with the longest being around 220.
There is some pretty dense rough along the outside of a couple holes. You wouldn't think there's a risk of losing a disc on a simple pitch and putt course, but it wouldn't be impossible to lose one off of hole 5 here.
Unplayable during school hours obviously.
There is a relatively long walk (around 300 yards maybe) from 9 back to your car. I ended up replaying 1 and 2 after 9 since they were pretty much on the way and only around 150 feet each. I guess that could be sees as a pro as well?
Other Thoughts:
This would be a neat course to bring your kiddos to if you happen to live nearby, I guess. Otherwise, I can't say it's worth going out of your way for.
I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't exactly disappointed at least.
