Where'd that tree come from? 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 20, 2019 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

New baskets (dynamic veterans)

New tee signs

Lots of things to do in the area after you disc golf

Nice scenic course that goes through a small Christian college

Lots of trees to shade you from the sun

Literally no rough!! :) You wont lose a disc unless you throw it into the pond on hole#8

Cons:

Hole #6 is a potential danger to pedestrians. You throw through a tight window of trees, if you make it out of that there are two walk ways the disc goes by before it gets to the hole. If you Throw it past the hole there is a parking lot 15 yards diagonally to the left. As long as you aren't ripping it you will be fine.

They need to redo the distance's for some of the holes. Hole#7 says 380' (hole seems short, maybe 240') then you get to hole#9 and you can tell it is the longest on the course but is listed at only 300'?? You can see all the holes so it isn't that big of a deal, just gauge the distance and don't pay too much attention to the tees.

They dont have tee pads but most of them are right next to the sidewalk so I throw off of that.

Other Thoughts:

Not a bad course for what it is. I live close by so I'll play it once in a while and afterwards I go to the field to the south of hole#7 and do some field work. I've played it twice in a row before and it only took me about 1.25 hours.

I have never played while there are students there put if you are semi accurate the only hole you have to worry about hitting someone is hole#6 and I throw a putter on that hole anyway (listed 230' but more like 200).

It'd be cool if they incorporated the ponds more.

You could possibly throw into the road on holes #1&2 but it would have to be a bad throw, just keep it somewhat controlled and you'll be okay.

If you are a newer player give it a try, it will teach you accuracy or else you are hitting a tree. Regardless of skill level you are probably going to want to keep your putter close. Or mid range if you cant throw that far.
