This course is a great example of. What DIY can be when there are some dedicated individuals involved.

The course is layed out fairly well, and though it's flat as a board there are enough trees guarded pins and OB to make it interesting.

The course plays through some partially abandoned residential blocks and makes use of an area that in any cases would be an unused hazard in a rough neighborhood.

The homemade baskets are not great, but catch well.

A few of the teepads are old oriental rugs with was kind of fun to throw on.

I was accompanied by two young boys for the first 6-7 holes. I let them throw some and they were attentive and interested. I wish I hadn't given away all my extras at a clinic to give to them.

Okay, this course has a cool story and nice layout, but it's got serious warts.

The neighborhood isn't awesome, and could make some feel uncomfortable.

The baskets while they catch okay, they are still homemade and could really mess up a base plastic putter. I use liquid touches and they were fine but i bet a DX would get eaten.

The grounds needed mowing Brady and stinging nettles abound.

In the summer it's probably pretty buggy and easy to lose discs.

I love the story on how it was built and the attitude behind it, this course feels like it could be important, but for now it's just an okay neighborhood course.

I'd probably go play Hiller next time I'm in town, but I'm still glad to have gone there.

Worth a play but don't go too far out of your way.

Very hard to think of any. If this were a young person who built this in their backyard, it would be a 4 star. However, if this course is to be graded on what a disc golf course should be it's a complete fail. If you're close and it's all you got go for it... otherwise it's not worth your time. I honestly couldn't think of a positive point to give it.

Signage, No Complete map. No Score cards. Aside from a small sketch on the top of a pvc pipe, sometimes labeled with the hole number, was a flight path, hole placement painting. There are arrows painted on the baskets pointing in the wrong way..... -1 point

The tee pads are small and tough to find from the previous basket. The layout has you guessing where to go next. The baskets are homemade, (which is awesome for a home course, but tore a 1/4' out of my putter, and I stopped trying to put after that.) If you do hit the barbed wire chain, it'll probably not stay in the undrained, water barrel buckets. -.5 , -.5

Design - To be a top course, or even average, you must understand what OUT and IN means. Hole 9 and 10, after searching for, are about as far from hole one as you could plan. The flow of the course does not exist, until you get to 15. The different throw types also don't exist. I cannot see giving any thought to giving points on creativity or difficulty of this. - 1

Benches, Trash, Water and Bathrooms... There are a few benches and FILLED trash cans, as well as trash all around the course. (Do people in Mississippi not know what a trash can is). So, I'll give the only half a point I can think of. -.5

The fairways do not exist. You should not have to spend 10 minutes looking for a 350' drive 20' away from the basket.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG (OR CHILD)!!!! MY DOG CUT TWO FEET WALKING THROUGH THE FAIRWAYS.

The course doesn't look like it has had a work day since it was installed. I would not suggest going here unless you live close, or want to have a horrible 3 hours following your disc through thorns and confusion.

There is a mail box at hole on for lost discs, which I thought was great, but still not worth any more points.

So, total .5

Go to Shepard State Park instead.

good layout of the course. challenging long distance shots. rest benches and shade cover for the hot days

grass needs to be kept mowed. where does all the trash come from?

could use real baskets,but the homemade ones are good. maybe a course maintanance day

Good layout, few lost disc & getting better every week, Little time spent walking from hole to next tee.

Homemade baskets can rob you of a par and even a bogey ,would love to get city behind us but meanwhile a great homemade course when the grass is cut.
Watch for missing water meter covers near edges of the road and possible snakes and occasional stickers.

Plenty of potential, official baskets and cement pads would greatly increase ratings.
