Pros:
Bathrooms, water fountains, and occasional hotty playing tennis. All good things for being such a small course. The basket placement pretty cool and even though some of the hole signs say Par 4, there is an ace opportunity for those that can throw pretty well.
And I cant help it, I was a little Brookland Middle schooler back in the day. Its cool to get back out there and play in the fields. Go Cubs.
Cons:
I expected more of a challenge, but it definitly doesn't take the fun out of the course. I would assume it gets a little busy out there with baseball practice or people running on the track but so far so good.
Other Thoughts:
The first 4 holes are tightly tucked into a wooded area beside the tennis courts. The fifth hole is a pretty long shot across the track and under a huge tree behind the baseball field. Stay behind the catch fence on the field to find the sign for 6. The basket is straight in front of you between two trees, another decent ace op. 7 is the only hole, that I noticed, that has an alternate tee. One is at the adjacent baseball field near first base. For two, you have to follow the woodline all the way up until you reach a trailer by W Hall. The basket for each is behind the last backboard at the far left corner of the courts. Your next throw on 8 is all the way across the courts to the right of the pull up bars. You will find the tee for hole 9 on the wall of the gymnasium. This hole has a straight shot to the basket, located directly in front of the tennis courts.
