Good course next door now 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 18, 2012 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

In the mountains - Rich is a nice guy and that small club is pretty cool if you are a skier.

Cons:

Object course with tough tees over tough terrain. This ravine bottom course does not compare favorably with the new course up on top of the mountain at Waterman - right next door.

Difficult, but worth the trip! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 14, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Beautifully isolated setting, creative course on small private ski area. We were the only ones playing, so there was time to strategize the approach.

Cons:

Out of the way, difficult to determine hole and tee locations, wooded so it is easy to misplace discs

Other Thoughts:

Write down as much information about the pin and tee locations as you can before coming, it will facilitate finding the tee pads and moving through the course. Wear close toed shoes! Lots of hiking up and down rocky areas with loose dirt, as well as looking through underbrush for errant throws. Overall, excellent golfing experience!
