- This course is located on private property, far away from noisy cities and has beautiful views of nature throughout.
- Good amount of shot variety that includes some elevation changes, backhand/forehand shots, doglegs, tunnels and open fields.
- Plenty of challenge, between length of holes, technicality and even water on a few holes.
- Brand new El Guapo baskets are color coded with the tee signs, making them easier to identify.
- Great flow and design, good use of land
- Lots of solitude, you will likely be the only person even on a nice weekend day

- I don't mind AstroTurf tee pads but these see very thick and not completely level beneath. A minor issue but not completely ideal.
- No benches or trash cans to my memory
- The "tee signs" are odd looking, geometrically shaped objects with no info about hole length or shape, granted that info can be found on the map.
- As the course designer warned it was a little rough, with grass getting longer. In then end it wasn't bad but I could see how it could be nice with a fresh mow.

This course is great, although I almost didn't find it. I was coming from the beach and after two hours of travel google maps had me drive up a dirt road for about 5 miles, only to get to a locked gate. At this point I had no service and was trying to drive around very sketchy dirt roads attempting to find the place. It took another hour of driving around country back roads, getting to dead ends and then finally finding the place. Make sure you come in off the main highway in town and not from the backside towards the west.

Favorite holes: Hole 5 was amazingly long for a par 3 but I liked it. Hole 11 is very challenging, requires a great upshot in order to shoot over the creek. Hole 12 has an angle that most people will not hit, you need to force over an overstable sidearm shot (if you are right handed), going around a tree to the right, then have it flex to the left, only to finish right at the end.

It's a very quiet and scenic place to spend 2 to 4 hours playing a round or 2. Great El Guapo baskets that allow putts to slide over the rim rather than get caught on a nub and spit back out. The 18 baskets alternate colors, playing 1st to red, then white, then blue, then repeat. this really helps when you're new to the course and see more than one basket off the tee. the turf tee pads aren't perfect, but generally very adequate. Some are a little bumpy. Eddy is a very gracious host, has worked hard to make this a nice place to throw the disc. He followed along with us explaining the course and spotting and showing us the preferred landing zones. He encouraged us to offer him pointers on how to improve the course. There is a good variety of holes, long, short, open, tightly wooded, some with OB involved, some favoring backhand, others forehand, and a couple that I think a roller is best, plus a couple of holes that require a well placed drive to put you in the slot for a tight dogleg, and putting the disc into position off the tee to clear the notorious Bummer Creek on the 2nd shot and hope for a 3 (hope). A couple of par 4s if I recall, so all round good variety and a pleasant walk in the country. Also, us old timers and kids get to play for free, 62 and over and not sure on the age to qualify as a kid.

Much of the grounds are very lumpy, rutted and with holes and just enough wavy grass to cover the holes and ruts, so watch your step, and your approach shots so you don't fall or twist something. There are some real opportunities to lose a disc (not so bad) but you should be fine if you have a spotter on a few of the holes.

With Eddy's passion and desire for input on course improvement this course will improve. It's a lonely place out there, which can be good, but give Eddy some support and encouragement on this course that he has worked so hard to make. Come out and play.
