Pros:
Fun variety of holes and a course with character. Owner is extremely nice and plays with you to show you the course. Well kept as it is personal property.
Other Thoughts:
I find it hard to judge private courses because I don't expect them to have some of the requirements I would expect from a public course, However I have to hold them to the same basic standards to keep my ratings fair.
This course is a private course in which you need to schedule a time to play. The owner plays with you and explains the holes as you play so your not going to get lost and he has all the info a sign would have so there are no signs either. The course has a great mix of shorter holes with well placed trees to go around, to the long bomb fields with well placed pins. He uses his whole property and some of his neighbors to make you use all your throws. The tees are natural and the markers dug in so you really don't notice them(would make the yard look kinda tacky big concrete tees), and can't remember any that were a pain to tee off of. The baskets were a mix of practice, regular, and homemade all which caught extremely well, just the changing of basket type from hole to hole could play with your mental game. Overall Rob did a great job with this course and I would Love to have it in my back yard. My favorite holes were the shorter front yard holes with ace run possiblities.
