The course uses existing trail segments (part of a 40-acre woodlands trail system) next to South Terrace Elementary. As of October 2018, course is undergoing renovation. It is open and playable in its current state, all holes have baskets & teepads (some have concrete, some just have chunks of carpet laid out), but none have signs or navigation indicators. The old course map signage is still there, but do not follow it as it is out of date.

From I-35: exit on MN-210 E towards Wrenshall/Carlton. Continue for 2.5 miles through Carlton, turn right onto 3rd St and continue for 1 mile. Turn right onto Cty Rd 3 and continue for .3 miles before turning right on Douglas Rd. The gravel parking lot for the course is the first immediate right just off of Cty Rd 3.
