Centennial Park

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 24, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

-- Tee signs are good, with hole number, distance, par and a basic map of the hole.
-- Innova baskets.
-- Holes 2-3 have wide-open fairways but do have guardian trees near the baskets.

Cons:

-- Land is not great for disc golf. It's almost completely flat with a few trees (mostly at the edges of the property) and a very small creek/ditch that was dry July 2023.
-- Holes 5-8 are completely open.
-- No map.
-- No practice basket.
-- No restroom or water.

Other Thoughts:

-- No. 1 tee is at the skate park. Be aware of the ditch about 10 feet past the basket.
-- Tee pads are concrete and decent sized, but 4 and 7-9 do not point toward the basket. Four and eight don't really cause you any trouble. Seven is off by enough (and the hole long enough) that you might wonder if the basket is missing. Hole 9 points in what I THINK is the intended flight path. Following that, you would throw about 75-100 feet straight ahead before a nearly 90-degree right turn. It's listed as 450 feet (par 4). However, you can easily cut off a HUGE corner and go straight at the basket. No mando is marked, and there are only a few trees to worry about. This weak-armed old man made an easy 3 going that route.
-- The course is sandwiched between two elementary schools (one is across the street), but the course doesn't use any school property. I could see it being difficult to get in or out during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times, but I played in July, so I can't say for sure.
-- After three holes in the 250-foot range, 4 is somewhat jarring at 550 feet with a thick tree line on the right. The left side is wide open.

Pros:

Nice baskets and pads it also has signs on every hole. Good distance for beginners but not so short that experienced players would still have a little fun. Great use of the trees and a nice clean park that is never crowded. The first three holes are good. Better players are strong arms will like the back

Cons:

The holes without trees are a little boring it's a little flat and the walk back from nine is a little far. The back holes are just too flat with no obstacles
