Great Place for Disc Golfers Who Love Craft Beer 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 15, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Fun course to play after visiting the brewery and enjoying some beer. They make some decent beer and you can bring a growler of beer out on the course with you.
- Holes like #3 (through the silos) and #9 (ace potential) are a lot of fun to try.
- The farm land around the brewery is beautiful and very scenic.
- They had cornhole set up to the side of Hole #1. You can play some cornhole after finishing the course.

Cons:

- Not too much in the way of challenging holes (8 - par 3's and 1 - par 2).
- Hole #2 needs a lot of maintenance. Very high disc loss potential here as you are throwing into / across a lot of knee high brush.
- Holes #4 and #8 run along a road that had some pretty heavy construction vehicles rolling through (there's a truck weight station along #4). Just watch out your don't end up with your disc in the dirt road, getting run over by a truck.

Other Thoughts:

I had a fun time playing the course as I was traveling through the area on the way from Rochester, NY to Baltimore, MD. The beer there at the brewery was good and the folks there were very friendly. The course plays very fast, even for a novice such as myself. I went on a week day and it wasn't crowded, so I could have probably played it two or more times without running into another group. I hear it can get pretty busy there on the weekend though. I'll gladly visit this course again on another trip through the area.
