Pros:
Has nice Patriot baskets
Uses the old Barrels from the brewery course across town that closed it's course
Cons:
Everything else.
The tee pads are asphalt and are not good
No tee signs
Only a few trees in the park
Slight elevation only on one hole
Other Thoughts:
The Brewery course on the other side of town was built on a sloppy area, too bad, it was a decent little 9 hole course. They closed that course and moved to baskets over to Krebs. However the park does not have many tree's.
With only one hole over 300ft and hardly any trees, this course is just hyzer hyzer hyzer pitch and putt.
Not much else to say, sorry some of the pictures are blurry, I forget that after the sun sets I need to hold the camera still to get the pic. Most of the time I am in a hurry to finish for the day.
This would be a decent course to bring the family out or a new player to check out the sport over the other courses in the area. But for a seasoned player, this course just sucks. Sorry, there just ain't any reason to play this course other than to count it as another course played.
But I will agree with this, if the course brings one new player into the sport, it's worth it.
Would I play here again? Heck no, both the other 2 courses in the area are MUCH better, don't waste your time here.
Well there is a HUGE chunk of coal in the corner of the park, that might be cool to see for a few seconds.
