The tees are natural. They are more bumpy than flat, quite short, and narrow. Stand And Deliver better be a strong point of your game.

The fairways are a continuous sea of … foxtails, the bane of several of the California courses I play. The grass is high, but finding spotters willing to risk sock and shoe within the depths of thigh-high evil can be difficult.

The courses play up, down, across, and along the rolling terrain of a large public park, not too far from the gold rush town of Columbia.

If you like …
*elevation changes: plenty of these, in all types of varieties
*short, control holes - plenty of these, mostly the front half
*long holes - you'll need to wait until the latter half - until then, enjoy the shorter holes.
*shot-shaping - err, not so much. Mainly throw straight - some long, some intermediate, some short
*obstacles - not so much, miss a tree mid or late

Favourite hole: #10: a high, RHBH hyzer, swung initially way right, or an S-shape more or less straight, to a basket below the tee, ~300' feet away - one of the few holes where shape/options come into play.

Improve the tees (quite a bit) and change the grass to low, green, and non-painful, and you have a decent course. But, as currently is, pain > gain ratio violation.
