Pros:
-tee signs at each hole
-baskets in good condition but installed a bit high
-has some small rolling hills on the first few holes
Cons:
-missing two baskets so hole 5 now plays to basket 2 and hole 9 is gone
-almost entirely open, only a few trees in play on the whole course
-the end of the course is on the opposite side of the church from the start
Other Thoughts:
The first few holes play around the rolling hills on the west side of the church. They are simple holes with the airspace for any kind of shot you like. Hole 6 tees from a slightly elevated spot and plays over an area filled with bushes. I wouldn't want to throw right into that. Holes 7 and 8 play over a flat, empty field.
The course is simple and unmemorable. I can't imagine it gets more people than some of the church goers, maybe some youth groups. If you're looking for a round of disc golf in Katy you might as well go to Willow Fork or to Flewellen Creek if you're not afraid of some water. This is a reasonable course for beginners or a place to practice if you live very close by but otherwise it's course baggers only.
