VERY Fun Short Course

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 13, 2023 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Even though only 9 holes and a very short 9 at that it is a ton of fun and has a lot of character. My favorites are holes 2 and 3. Hole number 2 is a left or right turnover for RHBH players that requires a slightly stable to over stable putter throw on an anhyzer line for a short flex to avoid the trees/branches for an easy 2. Hole 3 is a downhill, heavily treed right to left that for RHBH players is a hyzer thrown with an understable disc so that it glides and doesn't hyzer out too fast. Avoiding the branches and hitting the right shot is not a gimme. Even on the holes around 100 feet or less you need to shape your shot in such a way to avoid a guarding tree and its branches. There is an even amount of split between open and tightly wooded holes with even the open holes having some danger behind or to the right or left of the basket. Basically no hole here is completely boring with perhaps hole 9 being the worst as a mostly open uphill shot with little obstacles.

Cons:

This course is SHORT, really short! I mean there are holes that are under or around 100 feet. Those are guarded by obstacles and not easy aces but they are easy birdies. I shot a -4 here and felt pretty bad about it. I could see -9 or -10 being not too difficult playing all holes as par 3.

Other Thoughts:

The people at the office were super nice and excited for me to play and rate the course both here and on Udisc. This is only 20 or so miles from Yellowstone so a stop here to or from West Yellowstone is easy as it's right off the freeway. I recommend checking this out as a leg stretcher, very well done and very fun putter or SuperClass course.
