Pros:

+concrete tee pads prevent erosion and keep the course looking well
+Innova Pro 28 baskets catch well
+baskets provide high visibility and this course is a decent place to introduce the students to the sport

Cons:

-this course has a few safety issues with holes routed around parking lots
-lots of OB concrete/asphalt to scrape up your plastic if you're inaccurate
-teepads are about 7 1/2 feet long and require a step up onto them
-shade is practically non-existent

Other Thoughts:

I can't recommend this course to anyone that reads this website but the most serious of course baggers. It does have one partially redeeming quality though, which is that all the OB requires a lot of accuracy. You are required to think about shot placement on about half of the holes. Hole 1 requires the player to hit a grassy landing area in between a school building and a road on the drive, followed by an upshot over a parking lot to another grass "island" green. Hole 2 is probably the least safe hole, which requires a righty hyzer over another parking lot to a landing zone in between another building and the lot---I can imagine cars being tagged often on this hole. Hole 3 plays down a not very wide fairway in between buildings. Hole 4 through 7 are safe holes but wide open, and long enough to really stretch your arm on a couple drives. Hole 8 is another tricky hole that requires the player to pick a landing zone on either side of a road followed by an upshot to the basket not too far from the road. Hole 9 finishes with a straight ahead shot about 275 with no trees.

Obviously this course should not be attempted anytime school is in session. Best to play on weekends on days when no other activities are going on, since the course plays so close to roads and parking lots. The holes with "island" greens and fairways with OB on both sides will make you think about shot placement, and that's why I rate this course a 1.0 instead of 0.5.
