-This is a nice quick round if you live close by, or just started playing. Course is nicely marked and the staff was okay with me playing at 4, when there was still dismissal. Dismissal takes forever here so if you want to play, either check in as a visitor or just tell a staff member. They are very polite if you just explain. Course should also be open on weekends for sure.
-It takes advantage of the variety here. #7 is a nice slightly downhill bomb, there are a couple steep uphills, and #2 is slightly wooded. It's an interesting hyzer.
-Great 3 hole stretch holes 5-7. #5 is a nice uphill putter shot on the hill, #6 is back downhill with the road in play and #7 is the longest at 407'. Very interesting shift from tossing to grip it and rip it!

-Nothing really stands out. The 3 hole stretch from hole 5 to 7 is nice but those are the only holes you will remember here. After #7, you are going to see nothing but disappointment! There is a nice big field past #7's basket that goes downhill! Why stop the fun?!?! Hole 8 is horrible, you just go back to the tossing! The tee is beside the baseball field, or soccer (I don't remember or care) The basket is literally barely down the hill. Why not go all the way down? This may seem repetitive but it would unarguably be more fun. #9 isn't bad but it's just another filler with nothing really to it. #10 is worse! The tee is beside the field again and the basket is barely past the basketball court. Why not push the tee back and just move the basket a bit left, just a little.
-Heelboycraig said it all. There is quite a bit of wasted potential, there are plenty of opportunities to be had here to make it more interesting. They could add more holes but it would be easier to just take more advantage of the potential here because the first four holes are boring (#2 was okay.) #4 is silly! This is just a downhill putt, the basket on the hill makes it a bit interesting but this is too easy even for a middle schooler. #3 is boring too, it's just an uphill toss that's barely over 100'. #3's tee is just a bit behind #5's. Hole #3 should play to #5's basket. That would be a nice hole right there.

-Dutchman isn't bad, it just has so much more potential than this. I started playing in middle school and I would've eventually got bored playing if I went here back in 2009-2012 when I was in middle school. It's a great starting place for middle schoolers but eventually, they will want something more. If you want to play more than 3 good holes, then go to Boyd, York Middle, or the new course at Clover park. I would even if I was still in middle school because I got hooked on Charlotte disc golf in the 8th grade. This course is good to add to you played list, if you want an ace, or want to introduce a friend to the game. But for you people on this site, I recommend you just play it and leave.

Dutchman Creek is a nice middle-school course. There's not a ton of challenge here, but there are some fun holes. All in all, another decent course in Rock Hill's ongoing quest to overwhelm people with 9-12 hole layouts.
- There's some decent variety here. Holes #3 - 6 all have some degree of elevation involved. Normally I'd be critical of a course for having tall grass near baskets; however, in this case, the tall grass prevents shots from rolling down the hill. This leads to more aggressive tee shots, knowing you're not going to be overly penalized for it.
- Hole #2 is the only wooded hole. It's a short hole - 117 feet - so you have a simple chuck over the trees to the basket.
- Hole #7 is the only long hole on the course at 407 feet. The hole is wide open, so you can be aggressive and pull out the big throws for this one.
- Hole #6 is my favorite on the course. It's a mild downhill, 243 foot shot, with the basket on the side of a right-to-left hill. RHBH throwers are going to be throwing with the hill sloping away from them; RHFH/LFBH throwers are going to be throwing into the hill. It's a nice view from the tee watching your disc sail towards the basket.
-Course is relatively easy to navigate. Basic tee signs at each hole help make for easy navigation. Tee pads are dirt, marked by discs in the ground. Here's the disclaimer that the tee sign for #10 is missing. Once you finish #9, walk to your left, heading towards the water fountain along the first base line of the baseball field. The tee markers are about 20 feet behind the water fountain. Basket for #10 is close to the tee for #1, so it's very easy to play through multiple times without much extra walking.
- This is a very good course for beginners and casual players. As mentioned, there's only one hole longer than 243 feet, so big arms are not needed here. This is also a great course for practice. With the baskets on the hill - #3 -6 - you can get creative and throw from anywhere to practice different shots.

Not a lot to complain about here. Course is in pretty good shape, only needing a couple of tweaks to maximize its potential.
- I wasn't a fan of the tee location for #1. It's on the sidewalk, touching the building. The tee sign for #1 is actually on the school building.
- #4 is only 63 feet long. It's not as bad as the short hole at Springfield Elementary in Fort Mill, but it's still essentially a long putt. This is the type of hole you could argue should be a par 2, especially with the tall grass keeping most errant shots from rolling too far away. You could also argue this hole could be pulled, making #3 & 5 longer, and turning this into a better 9-holer than a 10-holer.
- The worst hole for me is #8, mainly because there's so much wasted potential. After finishing #7, you walk for several hundred feet until you get to the tee pad. Then, at the basket, there's a nice little drop-off to the right, with more open space. This hole could be much better if either you turn it into a longer hole (if you're going to walking so far, why not after throwing your tee shot?); move the basket to the right, making a more challenging hole location; or both. It could a layout much like that of #12 at Eastway in Charlotte, with the baseball field replacing the road as OB to the left. I just felt like that was the wasted opportunity for one really good hole on this course. Everything else essentially is what it is.
- The gate was locked when I tried to play here on a Friday afternoon. If you can only play when school's not in session, you would hope the gate would be open at those times. As it was, I parked in front of the gate, and walked down to the course.
- No benches (unless you count the bleachers around the baseball field) or trash cans.

Dutchman Middle is a relatively decent 10-hole course. As stated, there are a couple places where this course could be improved. But other than that, it's going to appeal mostly to beginner and casual players.
- With nine of 10 holes at 243 feet or shorter, there are plenty of ace and birdie chances. The risk/reward element here is pretty low, begging players to be aggressive.
- This is a quick play. I played through twice in about 50 minutes, and that included the time I spent searching for #10's tee, and the walk to and from my car at the locked gate.
- Between this course and Tirzah Church about 5 minutes down the road, you have the makings of a decent 19-hole layout. Many of the other Rock Hill courses are within 15 minutes from here, so plenty of chances to combine this with other/better layouts.

10 holes. 5 holes are on hills which for the area is a nice change. The longest hole (7) was 407 feet. The shortest hole (5) was 65 feet. Some of the holes are short and up/down hill. Only hole (3) has any trees at all and they are saplings.

It is a middle school course there is little challenge. I would not go out of my way to play this course.

The tee for hole one is posted on the school and not on a post. The tee for hole 10 is on the fence of the baseball field never the batter's box.
