Eastman Park in Buhl is a nice little neighborhood park with the town's swimming pool probably the big attraction here. The small flat park is green with mature trees and has horseshoes pit, a play area and a small picnic shelter.
The baskets are older models. The tee pads are a little different in their elongated design measuring #' x 14'. I had no problem with them. The tee signs are built right into the back of the tee pad but who needs a 14 foot run-up on a 100 foot hole? The signs just have the hole # on them.
I think the course is just a perfect little beginner/Ace run course. Five of the holes are less than 125'. Some do require you to put a little hyzer or annie on your shot. Easy little # 1 has a small tree directly in line with the basket. Simple little throw for any experienced player but a fun little challenge for the newbie. # 7 requires a tunnel shot in order to get under the tree branches.

It's very short with four holes about 100 feet and one at 125 feet.
No challenge for experienced players.

Just another great little beginner course that's perfect for chasing Aces. I always appreciate these little beginner courses more than most players. I think they fill a need in our sport by providing a place for beginners and youth to play without having to look for discs in rivers or canyons. If I lived in Buhl, I probably wouldn't be a better player than I am now BUT my career Ace total would be astronomic!

Great for teaching kids and inexperienced players how to play before taking them to CSI/Rock Creek.

Sometimes you have to skip a hole or two but usually I can play the whole thing after work before dinner. There are picnic benches so you can play a round, eat, and play another round.

-Bring your favorite mid range and putter because these holes are short.
-Fun ace run course.
-Easy to locate with simple directions.
-Well maintained grass and picnic tables to sit at.

-Baskets are dated and don't catch discs very well.
-Hordes of teenagers and small kids.
-Walking path goes right through the middle of the park and subsequently intersects with the fairway of a few holes.

If this were just a discgolf course and a discgolf course alone it would be a neat perk to living in a town of around 5000 people max. Unfortunately, this seems to be the towns main park and as far as I can tell the main local hangout for teenage kids on a Wednesday night. Seriously, the whole place was like the movie "Kids" and "Gummo" combined. They sat in the middle of the fairways so I had to just skip some of the holes. People even yelled at me out of passing cars a couple of times. Overall I had a lousy experience with this course.
If somehow I end up back in this town and happen to have my bag with me i'd play it again but it's not a quick stop off of any freeway and isn't worth a special trip unless you're on an ace bender and really want to sink a few.

Eastman is a nice town park which looks like it is probably well used in the summer. Picnic tables, a pool, and walking paths all dot this small park and probably spell disc golf disaster on warm sunny weekends. With all of this comes nicely maintained fairways and baskets for the rest of the year and a fun little ace run course. You won't need more than a midrange here and that might be overkill. While very short, the layout has very nice variety and decent tree coverage to force a bit of shot shaping.

Challenge: With the exception of one hole, the distances on this course are very short, SuperClass short. There are plenty of trees to contend with but these are easily circumvented with utility arcing hyzers/turnovers.

Tee signs: Ugh, I've seen this style of tee sign before - built right into the back of the concrete on the tee itself. It pretty much negates the ability to get a decent runup but fortunately you likely won't need to do much more than a stand-and-deliver on most of the holes.

While Eastman is a very peaceful neighborhood park in what looks to be a nice quiet town, I wouldn't recommend this course unless one was already in the area. It lacks any sort of a hook to draw players in and the short hole lengths pretty much let players have their way with the course. For a practice course, for families, and for complete new players, it would be worth a short trip to try out though!

Eastman is an interesting little park with nice green grass. All of the holes are short and mostly open and only require a putter with the exception of hole three that needs a mid or a fairway driver to reach. There are some well placed trees to make you throw a couple of varied throws. This is a well maintained park that is perfect to practice form and putting at or to introduce someone to the sport, you can even take your kids here as well.

The course is very short and there isn't much challenge here but it can be fun with a putter or a tradition frisbee or Superclass disc. The tee pads are short and skinny and the tee signs are built into the back of them but give no information other than who sponsored the hole. Also most of the signs have faded writing and at least one of the tee signs has broken off and is now missing.

There are more garbage cans in this tiny little park then I have ever seen in such a close amount of space and it seems to be working as I didn't see any litter on the course while playing. There is a large iron tank sculpture in the park that is neat looking and I was hoping they could have used it as an obstacle for the park but alas they did not. This is fun little course if you are in town but if you are looking for something more serious I say skip this one and go to either Rock Creek or CSI.

I played this course in the hopes of finding another ace, but was overall unsuccessful. It is a great course to teach a new player on, because even though it is very short, it does require you to throw a few different kinds of shot.

The course is pretty easy to follow, but tee 1 is slightly hidden. If you park in the swimming pool lot, as the directions say, walk up on the left (north?) side of the pool/poolhouse, and you'll find tee 1 next to the building. Hole 2 plays past the tank.

There are annoying kids that use this park that will bug you during your whole round, wanting you to let them throw a disc. This gets very old, very fast.
