Pros:
Englewood is located in a beautiful park setting. A good mix of open and tight shots. Nice rubber pads and good baskets. Shouldn't have too much trouble getting around, or losing discs. Family friendly and good for any skill level.
Cons:
No tee markers. High grass on a couple of holes can be a problem with errant throws.
Other Thoughts:
I love this course. It is challenging enough, but still good for beginners. The scenery here is really beautiful.

Pros:
Nice mix of holes.
Nice area of the park.
Nice rubber pad tees.
Cons:
Side underbrush is deep in spots making errant throws sometimes tough to recover.
The signs are up now, and they give all holes Par 3. That's pretty rough. I think there are at least two Par 4s on this course.
Other Thoughts:
My favorite course. Quite a bit of shade on those summer days. Holes are nicely designed--there is more than one shot to almost every hole. Water fountain at the crossover. Not too busy (except on Saturdays).

Pros:
Clean, well-maintained tees. Challenging hole layouts. Very pretty park. Actual "fairway" and "rough" areas.
Cons:
Not well marked so it is difficult to figure out as you go. The park is difficult to navigate in vehicles, too.
Other Thoughts:
You should have passable skill with every type of shot to play this course well. This is a course that is not "easy" but is still very rewarding even for a novice. We had to walk over to review the posted course layout several times in order to know what to do next. There is a printable map available online - make sure you bring one. I will play this course as often as I'm able to.
Scenic and fun - rewarding and variety...

Pros:
The course has a lot of variety and is laid out on a some very interesting land. Open shots, wooded shots, left to right, right to left, straight through trees, short technical shots, long 400+ downhill, long 400+ uphill, unique raised basket, lake, mowed fairways, quiet and peaceful park, great parking and amenities, large fly18 pads.
Cons:
no tee signs yet
Other Thoughts:
This is one of those courses that you can play one day and shoot a 10 down and the next day you might come out and shoot a 2 down. There is a lot of room for reward and a lot of room for error. Your drive is very important on this course in the sense that without a perfect one - you may not birdie the hole. The scenery is amazing. If it is your first time playing take note of the course map at hole #1 or print one out at www.daytondiscgolf.org
