Pros:
Informative hole placards at every tee pad. Great variety of distances and landscapes. Long distance drop shot tee pads. Difficult progressively uphill fairways. Good mix of lefty and righty favoring tee offs. Competitive OB lines.
Cons:
Inconsistent tee pad quality, with some a little short, and most weathered. Thick over growth of vegetation and thorn bushes that make for tough disc locating and sometimes tougher retrieval. Fairway trails inside of and connecting holes was heavily over grown and neglected. Tough unforgiving water hazards for inexperienced players. Unrealistic OB boundaries for a couple holes. Hole 17 and 18 were ill convinced, pointless, and should be moved.
Other Thoughts:
This course was really awesome. You might want a spotter in the summer time because the vegitaion is no joke. It's at the base of a small mountain range and there is a lot of hiking up and down hills that will literally leave you breathless. Brush up on your Korean if it is not your first language. Bring a cell phone and make sure to grab the cab driver's business card, otherwise you might be there a while. Budget plenty of time. If taking a bus to Seguk bus station, go into the strip mall parking lot behind the building and you will find a taxi company. Take the taxi to Cheon-So-Nyeon-Soo-Myeon. As a tip, write down the Korean spelling on paper to show the driver. The cab ride will be just under ten thousand won. At the drop off there will be a shared parking lot, walk back towards the main street where you will find hole number one, then follow the hill past that basket to continue. No facilities are located there during off season.
Update: the course doesn't seem to get much traffic through there and it's possible that it is no longer being maintained.
