Pros:
+ really decent concrete tee pads on every hole
+ Decent catching DGA baskets
+ A good mix of woodedness with open opportunities to air it out on some holes
+ Fun and enjoyable, despite most of the holes being on the shorter side.
+ Easy to follow navigation throughout the course
+ Rather compact and can be a quick play
+ Great map at beginning of course to provide a good lay of the round
+ Pleasantly surprised by the variety of holes and shots required
+ More open holes were well maintained
+ Disc golf section of park seemed to be exclusively for discing purposes
Cons:
- not many long holes requiring long drives
- wooded holes were sort of ridiculously tight and seemed under attended to
- For some, the lack of wooded holes (or the lack of maintenance on said wooded holes) could be an issue
Other Thoughts:
When I first noticed this course on DGCR I wasn't expecting much, but this course really surprised me! It was less open than I was expecting and held more variety and interest than I thought it would. I was somewhat impressed. Although it is not a destination course, it is certainly worth checking out if along the way.
