Pros:
Filer DGC plays around the outskirts of the high school and runs around the property and baseball fields. They have small tee signs showing distance to basket (it's way off but at least they tried) as well as who sponsored the holes. Baskets are in nice shape and have next tee arrows built into the metal at the bottom of the basket directing you where the next tee pad is. The baskets also have sizeable flags sticking out of the top indicting the direction and strength of the wind which in this area is a nice thing to add. Most holes fall into a reasonable distance for most players which is nice because throwing into an open field 600 feet every hole is something I've experienced many times and do not wish to experience again.
Cons:
Like I said the course is almost completely open and has very little if any elevation change to it. There just isn't anything that forces you to throw any type of shot other than the one you favor. Even though all the holes are under 300 feet it still feels monotonous and boring.
Other Thoughts:
There are far better courses in the area and I'm not sure why you want to play here instead. Perhaps if you lived close by, taught or went to high school here it's playable during lunch or after hours. I'll give this my typical locals and die hard course baggers only stamp.
