Nice Little Time Killer 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 28, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Short holes, good ace opportunities on every hole. Well maintained, excellent use of minimal space. Great place to work with younger kids on their form and putting. Plays fast, maybe 30 minutes for a twosome. Picnic tables, jungle gym if the kids get bored.

Cons:

Very short. 6 foot high privacy fences tend to eat discs if you overpower it. Lots of other people using the park. Residential street with a fair amount of auto traffic along 7-9.

Other Thoughts:

Like the title says, it's a good time killer. If you have small kids, it is a great teaching course. If a disc goes over a fence, homeowners seem pretty good about returning them.

Pros:

S-H-O-R-T G-A-M-E !!! This is a great public park, perfect for beginners and kids, green grass, if you dont have an ace yet, come play here... you'll get one on hole 5- its like 50 ft. Good use of what they had to use.

Cons:

Basically 9 holes that i only used my putter for all of them. could get old fast if your into more big arm stuff. besides bagging another course for my totals, I would not come back again.

Other Thoughts:

if you want your kids to learn and feel good about themselves while starting... this is the course to use for sure

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Mar 3, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

Lush green grass. In the summer. Very good for youth or working on your mid range game. A true definition of a par 3 course. Great signs and tee boxes

Cons:

Short, Would be better if the course could be bigger. Hard to find, Have to drive around the neighborhood for a bit.

Other Thoughts:

Loved this course for that fact that it was the only grass i saw while playing in colorado.

You can make it more interesting 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 4, 2009 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

OK the course is an Ace Race as designed so it is great to work on long approaches / putts but not too much if you are working with a new driver. However, when the action is slow at the course think outside the box and mix it up. We play a bit different after the first round of 9, and make up the "back 9" as we go. so say 1 tee to 2 basket...you get the idea. that way you get in some longer holes and increase the fun factor.

Cons:

It's short, can get busy, has pedestrian issues if you don't pay attention, and the rest of what has been listed.

Other Thoughts:

great place to warm up before running to CMC in glenwood, or up the Valley to one of the Mountain courses. Perfect for a quick round after work but before the wife gets home.
