Short and sweet 2+ years

Pros:

-Many ace and birdie runs here
-Good for a quick round, introducing beginners to the sport, practicing short drives and putting.
-Nice tees which are marked by white PVC pipe with the number on it.
-Good flow, never any stress over where the next tee is
-Not too many disc golfers in this small town, you shouldn't feel crowded on this course
-This park looked good, was clean, had large trees, etc
-It does take a variety of shots, despite the length. Holes turn left, right, etc. Some are behind fences or trees.

Cons:

-Very short and not too challenging
-May have to wait on other park users or skip a hole or two if it's really busy
-No signage but that isn't really needed in an open, short city park course.
-A recent pet peeve of mine is using man made objects as obstacles, sometimes it is cool but fences aren't. Not a fan of the bandshell either.

Other Thoughts:

This park isn't huge and I think they did a good job with what they had to work with. The course at Swan Lake is probably slightly better but this one was pleasant too. I would play them both if I were passing through but I wouldn't go out of my way for these courses.

Pros:

great for working on putting and short accurate drives. well maintained. good way to waste some time on an afternoon.

Cons:

very short course took 20 min to play. hard to find starting spot if never played before. could've done better if they had spread it throughout the park.

Other Thoughts:

ok course nothing to go out of the way for.

Pros:

Tees. Concrete tee pads of reasonable length for the course, marked by a pvc pipe with only the number.

Baskets. All baskets exist and are in nice shape.

Variety of shots. There was a variety of accurately placed shots required for this course, I chose to play a single disc round and was met by a decent challenge on many holes.

Amenities. Skate park, Shelter, Bandshell, playground, Tennis Courts, all located in this small park.

Ace/Birdie Opportunity. Every hole is reachable in one.

Fun Quick 9 holes. The variety of shots and decent challenge involved in a very short course made this an enjoyable single disc round, a great place to work on approaches and putts.

Cons:

Other user areas. The course crosses through other areas, mostly using fences as obstacles, or the bandshell on hole 6 as an obstacle. If others were using these areas, it could get dangerous.

Short. They worked with what they had. Most players could get by with only a putter I think.

Other Thoughts:

This course was designed well with what they had to work with, worth a stop if passing through town but I wouldn't travel out of my way for this one.
