Very easy to find the next tee. Bright red 4x4 posts guide you smoothly through your 20 minute round.

Makes use of the land that's there. 3 has a great pin spot behind a clump of trees you really have to shape a good shot for. On 7 and 9 the basket is hidden over the edge of a hill.

The Mach2 baskets actually aren't a rusty pile of garbage... yet.

No holes over 250'. 4 of the 9 holes are just a wide open fairway driver shot and one is a putter approach. No hole besides #3 presents even an amateur player with any challenge at all.

The stupid soccer goals on hole 7. I'm not sure if that was done on purpose, but if it was... you suck.

Finding the first tee from the parking lot could be tough.

Limited hours due to school and after school activities can make this a tough course to find the right time to play.

There's not much meat on this course. Go once, get your birdies, go play another course. Playing a round won't use up much energy and it'll be over before you know it; I finished my round in 23 minutes. Hole 2 being beautiful to look at as well as the few obstacles on 3, 5, and 8 do save this from going below a 1/5, but the back and forth, links-style is done to the MAX here. It's not boring... it's just doesn't have anything going for it either.

This course makes a really quick round. Even though there's only a few trees, every hole manages to have something in the way to make it interesting. There's some low-lying area with trees that makes the basket of 3 difficult to access. The parking lot OB behind the baskets of 7 and 9 is nice, and they are on a bit of a downslope, making distance control on those drives important. There's basically no lost disc potential.

The grass tee pads aren't a problem because the holes are short and the grass is taken care of. I don't expect this course getting much traffic, so it will probably stay that way.

The baskets have their hole number on them which helps with navigation because the "tees" are just red posts.

Very beginner-friendly. Most school courses are, but this one is better than some. There's some light elevation change on a few holes that keeps things interesting, a handful of trees that don't really cause problems but will mildly punish errant shots, and some decent variety in distance.

There's really hardly any challenge. The holes are short and you can always throw around the trees when they are present. There's never a line you have to hit.

Don't come here during school hours, but even then, safety can be a problem. There's a soccer field and a baseball field literally in the middle of the course, and some holes play near some basketball goals, playground, and even the school building itself.

Holes 2-8 are just back and forth, meaning little wind variety, and the end of the course is quite far from the beginning. You could park behind the school near the playground for a shorter walk at the end.

Navigation is a little tough, but it's such a small course that it's not a big deal. The red posts are easy to find, but it's often unclear which direction the hole goes. Just remember this: go the opposite direction you came on the previous hole. Baskets aren't great.

Not a fun course overall, but it is a decent place to take beginners. It's a birdie fest for me, which can be fun once or twice but gets old quickly.

There are other trees that could be used to provide a little more challenge, but don't come into play. Maybe invent your own tee pads to make the holes longer. Here are some ideas: Pay hole 2 from the treeline to the left, make the baseball field on 8 OB (and also
the parking lot), play hole 9 from the top of the hill behind the regular tee pad, and make some longer holes that run perpendicular to the regular holes.
