Pros:
For only being six holes, this place isn't too bad. Every hole is different, with varying amounts of distance and obstacles in the way. Subtle elevation change sometimes goes a long way on a few holes for players who aren't super experienced.
The tees are on the asphalt paths, and the holes play away from it. This is a great combination of using existing infrastructure for the course without sacrificing safety.
Hole 5 has a hanging basket (but with a crooked cage). The final hole is a "bomber" slightly downhill hole (only 200 feet, but longer than anything else). Hole 3 is the overall best hole, offering a few lines and having a low ceiling.
Lots of spicy ace runs, but for holes this short, do they really count?
Cons:
Okay, there's only so much you can do with six holes, and there's not much distance at all. Most players will easily drive to the basket with a putter on a lot of holes, and it's just a matter of avoiding that one tree in the way. This can be some good practice, with putter upshots that should be routine, but as the holes themselves, it's not ideal.
Hole 4 isn't great. It has a tight gap off the tee, which will be a problem for beginners, and the creek has some water in it. But if you know what you're doing, a straight shot will skip right up to the basket pretty much every time.
The path does have the opportunity to get in the way, even though you're throwing away from it on all holes. If your shot goes long, it could end up on the path on a few holes, namely 4 and 6, and an unlucky tree kick could cause problems as well.
Other Thoughts:
I think it's possible to have nine holes here. The north part of the park might be available, depending on where the property line is, and I wouldn't mind a few crisscrossing fairways if it means you have nine decent holes. There could even be one hole to the far south of the park.
Overall, this place isn't anything special, but it's a decent one to grab if you're in the area, and is a good warmup course if you're headed to Forest or Kanza.
