Pros:

This is just a very short object course on a nice manicured park with a playground, pavilion and other activities, making it a decent place to hang out, have a bbq, oh, and maybe play a little disc golf. (The course is clearly an afterthought).

For the space they use, whoever designed it obviously tried to make the shots at least challenging buy having you throw over the basketball court, around trees or by/over the creek.

The posts are tough to hit, so it does help you with putting in to baskets. It would be better if the posts were marked at basket level.

It's a beautiful location at the foot of the mountains.

Cons:

It's an object course. This fact alone drops it 1 point in the ratings right out of the gate.

The holes are way, way, way too short. It's the very definition of a pitch and putt course.

Hole 2 is not a good one. Yes, I almost aced it (I may have actually, but you can't see it and I'm only 80% sure I heard it), but it's so easy to land your disc in the stream. Granted I was playing in the middle of a massive downpour so the stream may be much much smaller normally, in which case there may be no chance of losing your disc. Otherwise it's a disc in the stream magnet.

The angles from hole to hole are odd, particularly when trying to get footing for your tee off. Again, this may have been because it was a mud hole, but I tried to consider that when making this assessment. You'll understand what I mean if you play it.

Other Thoughts:

For how much space they had to work with, it's kind of disappointing that the holes are so short. It was kind of shoved into the corner of the park that obviously didn't get much use, so maybe that's a good thing that it's being used at all, which is why it's in the "Other Thoughts".

You could change things up and have some fun. Throw the course with your weak hand or only allow underhand throws or something.
