Pros:

That there is a course on the campus, and the fact that disc golf has something of a presence in Herkimer County.

Cons:

Everything that the previous review relayed was my exact sentiment. We could not play 2 of the 9 holes because soccer camps were going on. I couldn't in good conscience bomb a 300 ft shot over the heads of 8 year olds. I imagine the people who installed the course had no idea what disc golf even is. Very little thought put into the course design. Being generous, I'd say 2 of the 9 holes are interesting.

Other Thoughts:

They should've consulted with someone who knows a thing or two about disc golf before installing the course. I fear either someone will get injured on the course, or, new players will try disc golf for the first time, and be turned off on it because this course is such a downer.

Needs an "Extreme Course Makeover" 2+ years drive by

Pros:

- It has baskets.
- It's on a college campus, so there's a chance students will try it out.
- Tee signs are easy to find.

Cons:

- Holes are ridiculously long, especially for a course that should cater to new players (students at a college campus).
- Several holes play *across* soccer and lacrosse fields, so if they're in use the holes will be unplayable. (Example: Hole #1 is over 700ft and plays diagonally across two soccer fields)
- Most holes have no obstacles, just open grass.

Other Thoughts:

The campus is to be applauded for installing a disc golf course. That being said, someone who lives nearby and has played disc golf before should approach them and gently inform them that their course will not be played (at least not more than once). Those baskets could be used to make a nice pitch'n'putt course that would be appropriate for new players at the college. There were nice wooded areas adjacent to the athletic fields that would be a better location, or at least skirt the woods so trees come into play as obstacles.
