Pros:
Well-mown, and on the same property as the town's community center, aquatic center, and baseball fields, so it gets upkeep as part of that complex.
Cons:
No course map, no tee pads, no benches, no trash cans, almost no trees, and a couple of the tee signs were missing.
Other Thoughts:
I like that it's right there in the same complex as so many other amenities. People doing other activities might see disc golfers (or the baskets) and be encouraged to give the sport a try, and it's a good beginner track-- few trees, wide open, mostly level, mown grass, etc. There's a playground nearby for the kids if they aren't into disc golf. The course is dead easy, and can be played with just a couple of discs. If they get turned on to the sport there's an okay 18-hole course 15 minutes away in Falls City, Nebraska.
Hole one begins at the north end of the property, right at the main entrance (and to the right of it). Look for the 8-10' tall sign posts that seem out of place. Those are the tee signs.
