Pros:
Long tight fairways, solid teepads
had potential to be a decent
Cons:
Elevation is a problem. many times I slipped on leaves etc coming down or going up. If effort were put into the walkways as they were to the teepads, it would be much better.
Just too long. Having to hit a 400ft fairway the entire length is just not whatsoever, sorry, but I've played a lot of places and having better fairways is just something this place needs.
No pets
not many benches to rest (which would be needed for so much elevation etc,
No water
no meeting area/pavilion
no restrooms
no trashcans
no "local" routes... the canopy is so thick, trying a "simon/eagle" route is impossible.
signage to next hole was next to nothing.
Other Thoughts:
Overall, this could have been a nice course if those that planned had planned more than just the teepads and fairways. There's more to a course then just this.
When you design a course, many things need to be designed as well to go along with it. To be honest, with all that it's lacking, I am truly amazed that it has such a high ranking. Many other courses are much nicer, but lack elevation, I guess Floridians really wanna throw up and down fairways.
As far as I know, the course will be removed at the end of June 2017.
