Pros:
Great Short Beginner Course or expert Ace Run for intermediate/advance. Good quick way to work on approach and putt. Since there are other courses close by, I doubt you will be disappointed after your expectations are set up front.
Course is laid out and you will have no trouble finding next baskets and not sure it is possible to lose a disk.
Grass is going to be cut, the most throws are short, with some subtle elevation changes to make you focus on your mid-range game. 4 of the 9 holes are very short and simple throw and putts, 3 of the holes you will need to find technical lines to get your birdie, last two holes are longer and better challenge. # 9 has is the longest and have an elevated basket to end the round.
You will find your self playing 3 times before you even blink.
Cons:
Like a Frozen Tombstone Pizza, you can't compare it this to real pizza's, but .... if you hold out Tombstone pizza as by itself, it is a satisfying snack.
So this is what Horizon Park is, a quick and satisfying snack. Not a destination course, but a quick and enjoyable course we fit in when we can.
Other Thoughts:
Again, simple and quick course. An advance player might to throw 9 birdies, but I doubt many could get all 9 in a single round. Again, great to work on approach and putt.
