You can tell that lots of effort has been put in to create and maintain this course - plenty of benches, signs, baghooks, recycling bins, clean.

Quit flat. Quiet short.

This course appears to be the back nine of the original course, with nine newer holes accessible between original holes 12 and 13. The original holes have framed teepads, Discatchers, and are over 200' in length, while the newer holes have natural tee locations, Murray(?) baskets, and most are under 200'.

Other than the open first hole, which has you throwing over, or around, the corner of a baseball field fence, the course is set entirely in a patch of small, intertwined trees (low, thick canopy). Throwing paths tend to be moderate, small, and smaller, and with ~75% of the holes being ~250' or less in length, this course places an emphasis on control. Straight off the tee, dodging a few trees along the way, will suffice on most holes, but you'll also need a few rights and lefts - need to have a varied mid-range game.

Navigation: From where the entry road enters the parking lot, tee-1 (original-10) is to the left of the leftfield foul territory, with its basket being located where a long homerun down the leftfield line would land. After playing hole-3 (original-12), a small path to the left will lead you to the newer holes, while turning right will continue with the original course. Either way, from there, its pretty much follow the obvious path.

Worth a visit if you "happen" to be in the area (how can one just happen to be in Virginia's lower Eastern Shore?) If I had time to play just one round of 18, I'd play the original course, as the holes, on average, are longer, the fairways better defined, and the teepads a step above natural.

Free to play! Right off route 13! Mostly short par 3s but every shot requires precision. Leave the long arm at home! Quick 35 min drive from Virginia beach. Went back recently and played the front nine murray baskets along with the original 18. I loved the elevated tee shot with the double mando between the trees. They have put some time into the extra holes. I give this course a solid 3.

Bugs were bad and we had to drive and get bug spray because we left it at home. Shore stop had it for 7.25 a can lol.

Seen a few Murray baskets but couldn't figure out how to incorporate them on either side. Anyone know if there is a map? The original 18 was really fun and i cant wait to incorporate the newer holes next time.

People put a lot of work into this. I'm sure it's fun for the locals. This course is still a work in progress.

-Confusing layout. It's very difficult to navigate b/c the hole #s don't match up. Not even an arrow on the basket to point to the next tee.
-Completely flat.
-Low canopies and tight/non-existant fairways
-Short, woody holes
-Dirt tees
-Some Murray (plastic) baskets.
-$12 toll coming across the Bay Bridge and $5 back.

Drink of choice: Engine coolant.

Simple suggestions: Put some arrows on the course pointing to the next hole. Number the holes. Chop down some trees to make fairways. Combine some holes to make the course more interseting.

This has 2 courses on 1 park with 18 on either side of the park. The local club has put alot of work and money into sculpting this place. My pros:
-Benches at every hole
-recycle bins at most holes
-bag hooks at many holes
-Woods are peaceful and clean
-challenging and fun
-mostly wooded but a couple of open bomb shots

This is a work in progress, the course has changed over time but the tee signs for all of them haven't yet, it isn't hard to follow the flow of the course but the numbers stop matching up.
-tee areas can get slippery and chewed up.

On each side the are 9 Innova Discatchers and 9 Murray baskets. If your coming from the south the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel will cost you 12$ and 5$ on the way back (if done within 24 hours.) Grab a few friends to spread out the toll and check this place out.

this course has 36 holes, front 18 and a back 18 and they are challenging. Low canopy, lots of trees, tight fairways, long and short holes, lots of ob, mandos, dog leg lefts, dog leg rights, this course has it all. Open bomb holes, huge hyzer holes, str8 away 350+ 15 foot wide fairway w. low canopy holes, anhyzer holes just about everything, u think of it , they course designers already did

we are the eastern shore of virginia and its a pretty flat peninsula. they have done what they can here w. elevating baskets and using what they have but thats the only con here.

great course to play, great group of guys who run the local club, just a top notch facility
