No Step was completely misunderstood 2+ years drive by

Pros:

I designed this course, and all I can tell you is that I designed it as Christchurch's very first DGC, and so it had to reward and encourage new players, as well as entertain and challenge intermediates and advanced players. It very specifically favours neither left or right-handed players, but rather the well-rounded player. The course promotes low throwing, with several height-restricted holes.

Cons:

Can get busy at 2:30-3pm with school kids. Just be patient. Teepad currently missing from New Hole 6, adjacent children's slide.

Other Thoughts:

The reason I routed "NO STEP" onto the wooden tee markers we had prior to teepad installation was for its traditional sense in aviation, where it means "DO NOT STAND OR STEP HERE".

It most certainly did NOT mean "You can't run past here".

The wooden boards were VERY slippery, and if you planted your foot on the buried board, you would slide off it and wreck yourself. It seems I overestimated the general population's knowledge of what "NO STEP" actually means.
