Pros:

Two sets of tees.... (played the shorter tees with my wife) Other than one or two holes, they were not significantly shorter. Good use of trees, baskets tucked away in fairway corners. Elevation came into play on many holes as well. The wife enjoyed the scenic walk.

Cons:

Way too much walking between the holes. Hole 3 was a challenge to find. Then the walk from 7 to 8 crossed a road and a drainage ditch. Grass tees ..(i'm a concrete pad snob!!)

Other Thoughts:

Course #2 on my adventure into Canada.... expected more from the review score and great scorecard map on the site.... came away feeling disappointed.....

Pros:

Long, challenging holes, generally difficult to lose discs. Decent amount of elevation variety (for Winnipeg, that is!)

Cons:

Intimidating for new players, because the holes are so much longer than any other course in Winnipeg. Can be a bit buggy.

LOTS of walking here, if you plan on playing 18 (longs+shorts).

Other Thoughts:

Long holes, generally open with just a smattering of trees, the Outback offers players a chance to really open up and throw hard, without too much risk of losing a disc.

Some signature holes (1, 9) offer a challenge not seen elsewhere in Winnipeg.
