Rehab & Beginner Heaven drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 7, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

It was designed for middle school kids to expand their gym program but it delivers a step or two above that. The open holes offer enough distance to challenge a beginner's fairway driver and also offer an opportunity to work out the long range mid shots. The wooded holes pack 4-5 different tee shot types into this short course. I threw a couple pure RHBH flat/hyzers, but had to mix in forehand, flex, and hyzer bomb to find the green.

Cons:

The only cons are really that it is beginner/kid-focused. People complain about the walk between 6 and 7, but you'd end up needing to take the walk anyways to get back to 1. If you want all the holes strung together, play 7-9, 1-6, and take the walk at the end.

Other Thoughts:

I'm using this course to get back into things after over a year off. It really does offer up 6-7 different shot types off the 9 tees which has been great for waking up the different disc types, throwing angles, and grips. Get creative and throw in your own OB rules in a few places to increase the challenge. The course follows a cross-country running course, and there are plenty of side trails for you to craft your own back-9 options if you want to run 2 laps and create a unique 18.
