Pros:

The grounds were well maintained on this fairly new course.
Tee pads are ample and the signage is excellent, providing you will all the information you need(distance, hole layout, etc.).
Has water threat on a few holes for added challenge.
Guarded pins and a couple of dog leg Left holes.
Low ceiling shots and there are a few open holes allowing you to air out a driver or two.
Good mix of short and moderate length holes.
Playground and pond nearby.
Hole observations:
1-the basket is guarded mid fairway by some nice trees and the Hyzer route is open to go around(RHBH) the trees to have a look at the basket.
2-throws across the neck of the pond, low ceiling upon approach.
3-250 ft is a straight throw then it dog legs back to the left for approx 125ft.
4-gap shot that dog legs back to the L, similar to 3 but not as long.
5-right side is open so hyzer bomb(RHBH)
6-open and then the pin is protected.
7-mostly open but there is a gap mid fairway that will need to be hit.
8-pin is nicely guarded by a grove of trees
9-has a tree that needs to be navigated around upon approach.

Cons:

Navigation issues, IE there might be 2 baskets in sight from the tee and scouting ahead might be needed for clarification.
Long walk from 1's basket to 2's tee and again from 7's basket to 8's tee will slow the flow of the round down a bit.
Wind could be a factor on the more open holes like 5-7.

Other Thoughts:

Overall this is a good 9 hole course that has a decent variety of shots. After you have played it once the layout makes sense but upon first visit it is easy to throw on the wrong basket. Just pay attention to the signage and you will be fine. This course is a nice compliment to Stolley Park across town and offers some shots that you won't see there.
Its nice to see disc golf growing in Grand Island and with the addition of this course maybe the crowdedness at Stolley will decrease a bit. If you are in the area and are looking for a decent challenge then hit this course up. I think you will find something here to keep you interested.
