Reviewed: Played on:May 27, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

+plenty of parking
+not busy
+tee posts & gravel tees
+practice basket (not marked as such, maybe alt 9)
+restroom
+9 hole loop
+variety of distances

Cons:

-no trees, wide open (except #2 in a group of trees)
-hole #2 right next to playground
-dirt, weeds, & dust
-bordering chainlink fences
-flat

Other Thoughts:

much of wyoming looks like this course; deserted landscape with scattered sagebrush, scrub grass, tumbleweeds, and hills in the distance. it appears the park had some unused land around the baseball & playground, so they got some gravel for tees, 4x4 posts to mark the tee, baskets, & made themselves a dgc. they shoehorned it in so they had to put a few posts up with arrows (mandos) directing throws away from other users (maybe, i did see 2 other people in the park on a friday afternoon).
hole 2 plays too close to the playground, but i would guess it's hardly ever used. 2 & 3 being so close to the irrigation, you get some grass to play on for 2 holes.
3 is the most interesting; basket blind behind a wood fence, has a mando at that fence so you don't throw over the horseshoe pits, and elevated by a small mound (maybe 2ft high).
6ft. chainlink fence with no gate line the left side of 4-9 & #4 puts the basket between 2 fences, so unless your good at climbing fences there is certainly the challenge of not going over one (especially if the wind is blowing, which it most likely will be).
navigation isn't too hard as most of the next tees are fairly close to the previous basket & there is at least a post there (some even had a tee sign stapled to it, but it looks like the weather is removing them).
if you happen to be in the area, this course is not a bad place to get out & stretch the legs/arm, but not worth going out of the way unless your a course bagger.
