Pros:
-The course is very well-maintained being on a ball golf course. The grass is cut short and no trash around. The pond looks great and is a great fixture on a disc golf course.
-The baskets are older DISCatchers, but catch well.
-There is some variety to basket positions and they seemed to do well with the land they had to work with if they were determined to put the disc golf course on the ball golf course.
-The pro shop has snacks and bathrooms.
Cons:
-Most of the baskets are tucked into the right or lift. I really felt like they were ashamed to have them on their golf course as only a couple of the baskets are visible from the tee.
-Another result of being on a ball golf course, there are not a ton of trees that come into play. Most of the course is open with thick woods on the sides.
-This cost is $6/person for a 9-hole course which makes it the most I have ever paid to play a disc golf course. This cost is outrageous for the product they are providing but, then again, they did say that they don't see many disc golfers...
Other Thoughts:
I came into this course expecting birdie city, but it has a decent length and degree of challenge to keep the more experienced player from being bored, but is fantastic for beginners. That said, there is a lot that could be done to improve this course such as expanding it to 18 holes and having the second 9 away from the ball golf course and incorporating more of the woods.
