Pros:
9 hole course located in Lakers Park in Vernon, BC.
Very nice Discatcher baskets, all mounted well and caught like they should. One pin position per hole.
Big rocks as hole markers, which was a little tough at first, but you figure it out easily enough. Navigation wasn't overly intuitive, but being a shorter course, it was mostly easy.
Plenty of ace runs, if that gets your heart pumping.
A few holes with some decent use of obstacles. Some trees in the back portion to contend with, but nothing over the top. Wind can also be a factor here.
Cons:
The brushy rough can hide discs, even if you know exactly where you landed. Keep your eyes peeled. It feels pretty scruffy, for the most part.
It's just a short course. There's a bit more space that looks like it could have been utilized, but it felt like other activities take precedence here.
Other Thoughts:
It's 9 baskets to throw at...and sometimes that's enough. It has a nice scenic backdrop with the huge hills all around. I'd also imagine it's hardly used, judging by the location...it's kind of on the edge of town.
With several other sporting type activities nearby, you could do worse than dropping off the kids and going to spin a round or two here.
